The day will be filled with a dynamic keynote speaker, nine breakout sessions to choose from, and an opportunity to learn the latest about new technologies, products and services from the sponsors!

Beat the Summer Slump and Bring a Colleague!

Join the Chesapeake Planned Giving Council for an afternoon that's equal parts social, schmooze, and substance. Summer Connections is your chance to raise a glass, expand your network, and walk away with something you can actually use.

The afternoon kicks off with open networking, Union Craft Brewing's delicious craft brews (non-alcoholic beverages available too), and light fare before settling into a candid, behind-the-scenes conversation with recently retired Richard Letocha, who spent his gift planning career as part of the team at Johns Hopkins. Richard's going to spill the tea (but not the beer!) and share the inner workings of one of the country's top gift planning programs. Fun fact: CPGC board member Ann Kolakowski helped hire Richard over 15 years ago and now they're reuniting to offer the kind of insider look that doesn't require a big budget or a large staff to learn from. You'll leave with ideas and perhaps a new connection or two.

This event is perfect for anyone looking to dip their toe into gift planning and learn more about how to help your donors make their most meaningful gifts and for seasoned pros who are always up for good conversation and good company.
