Alex joined The Burgess Group in 2008 and is responsible for providing sophisticated insurance planning to high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations. Alex specializes in retirement analysis, estate strategies, employee benefit and retention services, business continuation strategies, and trust services. Alex works closely with foundations and their donors to expand endowments and assists clients in developing planned giving strategies. Alex has assisted in raising hundreds of millions for charities, universities and foundations worldwide.

Brian May, Summit Life Equity, Executive Director
Brian is a dedicated professional with over 20 years experience. His focus is expanding endowments, increasing philanthropic giving, and augmenting fundraising by a 10-15x factor, utilizing premium financing, through his partnership. He served in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors of Science, Business Finance Law degree. He's passionate about philanthropy and has done mission work in South Africa and Mexico. Brian loves spending time outdoors with his amazing wife and three children.
