Ashley Mancinelli

Vice President of Philanthropy

Baltimore Community Foundation

Ashley is the vice president of philanthropy at the Baltimore Community Foundation [BCF] where she leads efforts to expand the foundation's endowment and helps individuals, families and businesses think strategically about their charitable giving. An attorney by training, her legal experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors combined with her work in nonprofit fundraising enables her to bring a unique perspective to donor stewardship and philanthropic planning.


Prior to joining BCF in 2023, Ashley spent a decade at the Walters Art Museum where she advanced to the role of senior director of development. During her tenure she managed all aspects of fundraising including the cultivation and stewardship of planned gifts and gifts of art to the museum. She currently serves on the board of TurnAround Inc. and is a past president of the Chesapeake Planned Giving Council.

John joined CFAAC in 2023 as Director of Gift Planning after working 25 years at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF). As CFAAC’s Director of Gift Planning, John is to facilitate AAWGT's philanthropic initiatives, cultivates and stewards relationships with current and prospective donors, as well as professional advisors, including members of the Anne Arundel Estate Planning Council (AAEPC). He assists advisors with trusts, estate planning, and other deferred gifts to help their clients achieve a lasting philanthropic legacy in the community.


Natalie Sherman

We are please to have Natalie Sherman return as a panelist after her highly acclaimed In her Shoes Lunch & Learn presented last March. 

Natalie is the Head of Wealth Planning at &Wealth, a boutique financial advisory and investment management firm for a select group of women who are managing major life events and their own finances for the first time. Before joining &Wealth, Natalie had an almost 30-year career as an estates and trusts lawyer at nationally and regionally recognized firms. An honors graduate of both the University of Virginia and Harvard Law School, over the course of her career Natalie has counseled a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs, professionals and business owners, and multiple generations of wealthy families, creating sophisticated and customized plans that are also practical and understandable.


Natalie has also been engaged with the Baltimore non-profit and philanthropic communities for over 25 years. She has served on the Boards of and in leadership roles with the Baltimore School for the Arts, Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School, University System of Maryland Foundation, Associated Catholic Charities of Maryland, and the Chesapeake Planned Giving Council.

With 25+ years in financial services, Christina helps clients navigate wealth planning with a comprehensive approach. She serves on the Planned Giving Advisory Council for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and has been recognized for her community contributions, including the 2021 John G. Atkinson Award. A past president of the Maryland Chapter of Women in Insurance and Financial Services, she remains dedicated to advancing women in the industry.


Sue Pitchford

Becoming a lifetime member of Anne Arundel Women Giving Together (AAWGT) was a natural next-step for Sue Pitchford. After all, she has been an extremely active member of the giving circle for 12 years. Once she became an AAWGT member, Sue was all in—joining committees and eventually becoming president and now membership chair. Working with AAWGT has given Sue much insight into the community and its needs. She has participated on the grants selection committee for years and her heart always reaches toward the smaller, startup organizations. Making an impact is something that Sue has done throughout her years with AAWGT.
