Modern gift planning is rapidly changing to adapt to seismic shifts in technology, wealth distribution and pressures of new uncertainties facing the sector. How do these trends affect the role of gift planners in what should be a “Golden Age” for gift planning?

Michael Kenyon, president and CEO of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, will review data from recent Compensation Surveys and other sources to examine trends, opportunities, and challenges facing gift planners today and in the future.

As president and CEO of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, Michael strives to create an environment where CGP’s 7,000 members can come together to educate, learn, network and advocate for the distinguished profession of charitable gift planning. It’s Michael’s job to navigate change, foster innovation and bring people together to build a healthy and successful organization.

Michael has extensive nonprofit leadership experience working with organizations in social services, education and performing arts institutions, and professional associations. He is active as an advocate for the nonprofit sector, frequently presenting on the role of nonprofits in society, and advises organizations on governance and board development.
